Pyme industrial vasca busca socios para unirse a una propuesta de desarrollo de sistemas de almacenamiento de energía basados en baterías de flujo redox (RFB) que se centrará en el tema más adecuado de HORIZON-CL5-2026.

Horizon Europe project leader seeks partners to develop an energy storage system for a high demanding electricity consumption industrial process that will be powered exclusively with renewable energy sources. Given the need for both high-capacity storage and cost-effectiveness, REDOX-based technologies will be explored. In particular, quinones or other affordable organic compounds as key elements of a sustainable and economically viable alternative to conventional materials.   

The Basque SME is looking for partners to develop the required technology for Intensive Accumulation of Electrical Energy generated by Renewable Energies. This technology would be based on REDOX physical principles and should be marketed at 'affordable' prices in the future.

Partners sought must be manufacturing entities who will be responsible for manufacturing the developed equipment worldwide once the project is finished. In addition, partners sought must have experience in the design and manufacture of industrial equipment and be willing to work on a project with a great technological novelty.

Deadline of the call is 23 February 2026. Deadline EoIs is 30 June 2025.
