However, the challenges of maintaining high mechanical properties, fire resistance, and UV resistance under such conditions highlight the necessity for innovative material solutions and advanced production techniques. The main objective of the collaboration is to address these challenges by leveraging cutting-edge plastic injection technologies and biopolymer research. This will enhance the performance, durability, and sustainability of wiring devices, ensuring they meet stringent safety and environmental standards. By focusing on the development of bioplastic materials that can withstand extreme conditions, the project aims to contribute to the circular economy, promoting eco-friendly practices and reducing the environmental impact of plastic production. They are looking for plastic producers, universities and research centers, biobased material producers, users of engineering plastics and polymer producers. Deadline of the call is 24 April 2025.
