Eurostars Call 2024 - Bolas de polímero reciclado para paneles de hormigón.

Currently the company use polymer balls with an empty centre as inserts in the concrete to reduce weight of cover panels, but it has several disadvantages. The aim of the project is to develop and mass produce recycled polymer composite balls with a density close to that of the concrete and use them in the production of panels and other products. The balls of composite material are planned to be produced with the thermoforming method. The objectives of the project are to develop production technology for mass production of composite polymer inserts (balls) in concrete thus utilising waste polymer materials and reducing product costs.

The expected partner must have experience in polymer materials. Its role in the project will to deal with environmental problems in the production process and products in accordance with EU regulations. Other types of collaboration are also possible.

Anticipated duration of the project - 3 years.
