El IDEPA es elegido como ejemplo de buenas prácticas en la metodología Innovation Camp

El Joint Research Centre de la Comisión Europea,  ha elegido al IDEPA como ejemplo de buenas prácticas en la temática Innovation Camp que se plasmará el próximo día 14 de octubre durante la celebración de la 18 Semana Europea de Regiones y ciudades, con una intervención en la que se explicará el proceso preparatorio  y el programa llevado a cabo en Covadonga el año pasado dentro de la iniciativa Europea "Sciencie Meets Regions".

El Innovation Camp sobre circularidad, celebrado en marzo del año pasado en Covadonga, supuso el punto de partida de Asturias como un hub de circularidad, una agrupación territorial de industrias conexas, comprometidas con el entorno e infraestructuras de I+D para la valorización, públicas y privadas, que colectivamente alcancen niveles de demostración en cuanto a la gestión circular de recursos. En este sentido, es factible identificar a la industria de procesos asturiana como principio y fin de los residuos.

Este evento impulsado por el IDEPA, enmarcado en la iniciativa europea "Science Meets Regions" ha sido promovida por el Joint Research Centre de la Comisión Europea para favorecer el debate entre ciencia y políticas públicas.

Durante el encuentro, diferentes personalidades del mundo empresarial, investigador, de la Administración y de la sociedad civil, debatieron para aportar ideas innovadoras que permitan afrontar el reto de la economía circular.

Temáticamente, el hub tomó el testigo de las conclusiones del Innovation Camp de Covadonga respecto a las oportunidades tecnológicas para el aprovechamiento de subproductos industriales y RSU por la industria de procesos y los aspectos socioeconómicos a considerar desde fases tempranas de la I+D para favorecer la utilización de subproductos y residuos por la industria.

The JRC chooses IDEPA as an example of good practice in the Innovation Camp methodology [english version]

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has chosen IDEPA as an example of good practice in the Innovation Camp that will be presented next October 14th during the 18th European Week of Regions and Cities, with a speech explaining the preparatory process and the programme carried out in Covadonga last year within the European initiative "Sciencie Meets Regions".

The Innovation Camp on circularity, held in March last year in Covadonga, was the starting point for Asturias as a hub of circularity, a territorial grouping of related industries, committed to the environment and R&D infrastructures for valorisation, both public and private, which collectively reach levels of demonstration in terms of circular resource management. In this sense, it is feasible to identify the Asturian process industry as the beginning and end of waste.

This event promoted by IDEPA, within the framework of the European initiative "Science Meets Regions", has been promoted by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission to foster the debate between science and public policies.

During the meeting, different personalities from the business world, research, the Administration and civil society debated in order to contribute innovative ideas to face the challenge of the circular economy.

Thematically, the HUB took over the conclusions of the Innovation Camp in Covadonga with regard to the technological opportunities for the use of industrial by-products and MSW by the process industry and the socio-economic aspects to be considered from the early stages of R&D to favour the use of by-products and waste by industry.
